concept:
I created three business casual looks that could easily be transformed from an office look to happy hour drinks with coworkers. I wanted to make sure the pieces were timeless and could easily be mix and matched with each other.

inspiration:
I wanted to bring a bit of the tropical Miami vibe to the hard edge-city. I achieved this look through my color palette and prints. For the silhouettes I was inspired by the dramatic collar, suit vest, and crop tops from the spring/summer 2020 fashion shows. I wanted to keep the pieces feeling lightweight, breezy, and comfortable so I opted to use organic cotton, linens and satin.
development:
In developing my display boards I used both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. I used illustrator to create the fashion figures, rendering them in a simplistic modern style. The garments were designed in a simple mono-line style that translates on to the board to actual product development specs. Now using Photoshop, I was able to lay in my color swatches, body copy, and background images to finish off the board.
